Shanling M8T equips traditional Op-Amp design incorporating an in-house developed I/V stage featuring ADI ADA45253 high-speed and low-noise amplifiers. These are carefully paired with each resistor and capacitor to ensure optimal performance. Anti-noise shielding surrounds the DAC section, enhancing performance and measurements. The low-pass filter utilises OPA1612 chips combined with thin-film resistors and Panasonic tantalum capacitors, resulting in even lower distortion and improved I/V conversion. For the headphone amplifier, the classic ADI AD8397 chip delivers a high current output that pairs with their target sound, offering a warm yet transparent listening experience. Shanling has upgraded the M8T with Japanese KDS active crystal oscillators (90.3168MHz and 98.304MHz) and a custom FPGA solution alongside Shanling’s 4th gen algorithm to improve accuracy and enhance overall performance for a superior listening experience.
