The QDC version is fully compatible with KZ Castor Pro (including Bass Edition), QKZ × HBB, and Tangzu Wan’er SG/SG2. It will not work with Moondrop Chu II(non-detachable cable) and is not suitable for flat 0.78mm 2-pin IEMs like Salnotes Zero or BLON.
Will it work with budget DACs or adapters?
Yes, since it uses a 3.5mm termination, it will work with most DACs and adapters (even budget ones), as long as they support 3.5mm output.
